119. Are You Set Up for Sales Success? The Series Wrap-Up

Over the last seven episodes, I've covered a lot. And I mean a lot.

This series has been one of my favourites to record - and the feedback from you has been incredible. But I also know that seven episodes across seven weeks is a lot to work through, and I want to make sure nothing gets lost in the mix.

So today, I'm bringing it all together. One episode. Seven summaries. Everything you need to know before we close out this series.

And before we get into it - I want to be really clear about something. You do not need to nail every single one of these stepping stones to be successful. That is not what this series has been about.

But if something I share today lands and you think, "Yeah, that's my gap" - fixing it or focusing on it is 100% going to help, not hinder, the growth of your business.

In This Episode, I Cover:

Part 1 — Eyes on the Prize (Episode 112) The three fundamentals you need before anything else: a visibility strategy you can measure, knowing your numbers (traffic, conversion rate, and average order value), and a consistent way to get traffic to your website. If you can't tell me how many new eyeballs saw your brand yesterday - this is your starting point.

Part 2 — Copy That Converts (Episode 113) What actually happens when traffic lands on your website. Your product descriptions need to solve a problem or fulfil a desire - not just list features. Plus: how trust signals and reviews directly impact your conversion rate, and why your imagery needs to do the job of a shop floor.

Part 3 — Reduce Purchase Friction (Episode 114) Every extra click is a barrier. I walk through website navigation, how to front-foot your customers' objections and assumptions, the drop-off benchmarks you should be measuring (5% add to cart, 20–30% reach checkout, ~50% complete purchase), and a checklist for your checkout experience on mobile.

Part 4 — Never Miss a Sale (Episode 115) People need five to eight touch points before they buy. Most brands manage one or two. This is why email is non-negotiable - and why skeleton flows are quietly costing you sales every single day. If email isn't contributing 30% of your online revenue, I share the two reasons why and what to do about it.

Part 5 — The X Factor (Episode 116) Optional - but powerful. Being the face of your brand, showing up authentically (the good, the bad, and the ugly), and doing the unexpected things that build genuine connection and loyalty. You don't need to be on social media 24/7. You just need to find the things others aren't willing to do - and do them.

Part 6 — Is Your Focus Costing You Your Profit? (Episode 117) The business owners succeeding today are making the most profit, not the most sales. I talk about your returning customer rate (aim for around 30%), why your previous purchasers are your hottest prospects, and how to create a post-purchase experience that turns a one-time buyer into a loyal fan. Plus: the VIP email strategy that returns $700–$1,000 every quarter for one of my clients.

Part 7 — The 1% That Changes Everything (Episode 118) Scaling is not about doing more. It's about mastering what's already in front of you. I share real examples of how small improvements to your open rate, cost per click, conversion rate, and average order value can compound into significant revenue growth - without changing your strategy or spending more.

Your Action Step From This Episode

Don't try to implement everything. Pick one area - the one that made you stop and think, "That's me" - and go deep on it.

Get clear on how you're going to measure your progress. Make one intentional improvement. See what the data tells you. And then move to the next one.

Skimming the surface of every strategy means you're mastering none of them. And that doesn't equate to progress. Going deep on one thing does.
