Q1 to Q3 2026, from Shopify

In Shopify, go to Analytics and set the date range to each quarter. Copy the numbers exactly as Shopify shows them, including your conversion rate.

Shopify's total sales includes shipping and tax, so it will sit a little above sessions × conversion rate × average order value. That's normal.

Year to date: 1 January to 30 September 2026

These two only feed the top of your funnel, so one total each is all you need.

Optional: last year's Q4

Black Friday and Christmas lift Q4 for most product businesses, so your Q1 to Q3 average can undersell what's realistic. If you have it, this helps you set your goal in step 4.

Your funnel

1 January to 30 September 2026. How many people moved through each stage, and what percentage made it to the next one.

This is where you see what happens when you work on one part of your funnel. Change one thing, like adding a link sticker to your stories or lifting your email click rate, and these percentages should move next quarter. It also shows you where people are dropping out. If 300,000 people saw you and only 1,000 visited your website, that's 0.33%. They're seeing you, but they're not being given a reason to click through.

Before you choose your lever: check in on the top of your funnel. Are you doing everything you'd like to do to get seen and get traffic? Whatever lever you choose in step 4, anything you add here stays in your plan.

Get seen

How are people finding you right now, and how do you know it's working?

Your 3 metrics, quarter by quarter

Which went up, which stayed flat, which went backwards? Your best quarter for each is shown in green.

What was behind your best quarter?

Your best quarter isn't luck. Something you did made the difference, and it's usually worth doing again.

Your Q4 goal and your one lever

Set your goal for Q4 (1 October to 31 December 2026) in the 3 Metrics That Matter™ Calculator, play with the numbers, then choose the one number you'll move.

The 3 Metrics That Matter™ Calculator

Everything starts at your Q1 to Q3 averages, with your goal set to your average quarter. Change any of the three, by typing or dragging, and watch what happens to the traffic you need.

Reset puts your conversion rate and average order value back to your averages. Your goal stays as you set it.

      Choose your one lever

Pick the one number you'll focus on this quarter, then type the number you want to lift it to. The other two stay at your Q1 to Q3 average.

Q4 is the biggest trading quarter for a lot of product businesses, so your traffic may lift on its own. Factor that in, but don't build your whole plan on it.

      Your boosters

Shortlist up to three from the Bank Balance Booster™ Library. Open each blueprint and check its lead time and effort before you commit.

      Your three events

One marketing event a month. October is already underway, so pick something you can get live quickly.

Leave three to four weeks between discount-led events. Back-to-back offers train your subscribers to wait for the next one.
      7

      Your non-negotiables

The habits that protect this plan when the quarter gets busy.

Start with one of each. One habit you'll actually do beats five you won't, but you can add up to three of each. Every habit becomes a checkbox on your calendar in step 8.
